I was recently invited by Smith College to deliver a keynote at their upcoming event on November 13, titled:
Invisible Power: How Understanding Hidden Disabilities Transforms Leadership

I will talk about how understanding and embracing invisible disabilities can transform leadership and foster a more compassionate and inclusive workplace culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
Through personal stories of running a business, having narcolepsy, and using a service dog, I will share actionable strategies to:
- Recognizing Invisible Disabilities: Emphasizing the need to acknowledge and support invisible disabilities to build a more empathetic, inclusive workplace.
- Building a Culture of Belonging: Guidance for leaders on creating a work environment where every employee feels valued and included, regardless of visible or invisible challenges.
- Why Compassion Matters in Business: Showing how understanding and accommodating invisible disabilities strengthens workforce innovation, commitment, and resilience.
- Setting the Standard for Inclusivity: Exploring how compassionate, inclusive leadership can boost team creativity, collaboration, and loyalty.
Everyone is welcome to attend the free event, and I hope to see you there on Nov. 13!
