Sharing Lessons on Fear, Confidence, and First Steps Toward New Beginnings
Yesterday, I stood in front of a room full of people who were all there for the same reason, to take the next step toward their dreams.
Some were just starting out.
Some were re-entering the workforce.
Some were switching careers or navigating life with a disability.
And every single one of them showed up ready to learn, ask questions, and think differently about what’s possible.
At Bayshore U. (in partnership with Bayshore Shopping Centre and CVE Inc.), I shared my my path and lessons from it to help the job seekers make their own dreams come true.
We talked about fear.
We talked about confidence.
We talked about taking that very first step, even when it feels impossible.
By the end of the session, you could feel the shift in the room. And that’s the best part of my job; watching people realize they’re more capable than they thought.
