My mom sent me a text message this week that shocked me.
It was a poem.
A beautiful, emotional, captivating poem about living with a disability.
And it was custom written for her by a robot.
My mom isn’t a techy person.
So, how did it happen?
The night before, I had introduced my parents to an AI robot called ChatGTP for the first time.
They had heard about it on the news. Mostly bad things. Or super technical things.
I wanted to show them how it could help regular people like them.
I gave examples of what it could do and showed them how it works. It didn’t take long before they started giving me ideas of what to try.
Within the hour they were both comfortable with it.
And by the next day they were using it on their own!
